Since a few years, oceans have often been mistreated, polluted by plastic, provoking death of thousands of sea animals.
Based on this statement, Adidas has decided to communicate on this fact in order to raise public awareness. That’s how the sports brand has designed a football jersey 100% made of plastic left in the Indian Ocean, from the Maldives’ off coast.
In partnership with the Parley organization, Adidas has created this jersey for two sponsored teams: Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. With the mention “for the oceans” written on it, this jersey is a nice way to communicate and sensitize, regarding football players and football club influence.
