IKEA Retail Therapy

Recently, Ikea has been doing a big effort in Sweden in order to demonstrate customers how their products are designed for real-life families and households.

A wonderful campaign has been presented by IKEA and the agency Akestam Holst for the Christmas season: “Retail Therapy”, IKEA has renamed its products with common Google’s searches about family and relationship problems just like like “husband snores too much” or “he can’t say he loves me”.

When you type these word on Google, an appropriate Ikea product comes out at the top of the search results : a couch for the snoring spouse, a blackboard for the reticent boyfriend, a pair of sturdy scissors for the kid who plays too many computer games…
